David Wilburn

David Wilburn is the General Manager of Qarbon Aerospace's Milledgeville, Georgia site, with more than 28 years of leadership experience across the aerospace and defense industry.

Throughout his career, he has held positions of increasing responsibility spanning operations, program management, operational excellence, engineering, tool design, R&D, and supply chain. David brings a proven track record of leading complex aerospace operations and programs across multiple sites, with full P&L accountability and a strong focus on operational performance, customer delivery, and organizational excellence. His technical and operational expertise includes detail fabrication, machining, sheet metal, composites, and large airframe structural assembly. Prior to joining Qarbon Aerospace, David served as General Manager and Director of Programs at Triumph Aerospace Structures. His leadership experience includes domestic and international work transfers, program and site closures, new program introductions, and the execution of complex, multi-site initiatives. David holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State University and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
